Mine has a governor at 114 or 115. Hit it both stock and after the 3" lift and 32"s. I was REALLY dumb when I was a little younger.

Congrats on the lift. Was the problem with the IRO track bar or JKS?

If you're not fixing it, you're not driving a Jeep.

Had mine flat out once....just to say i did you know (just over 120 on the clock)!....... it was rock solid but its only lifted a couple of inches....dont think think I would want to do the same thing on a 6 inch lifted one with winch bumpers etc!

You also have to watch out for the top speed of your tires!
Mine I believe are up to 110

Don't exactly feel comfortable going near that number haha

Load rating needs to be watched as well if you are going to go fast. I have H rated tyres...so thats 130 mph and the extra load version so thats 1000 kg (2200lb) per corner (8800lb total load). So im not worried about them folding at a "mere" 118mph with "only" 4700lb (2135kg)in weight!

Any way back on topic!!

I am having literally the same problem, only difference is that the temp is fine if I'm moving, if I'm not moving and am sitting at an idle it rises...replaced the thermostat, still having the same problem, and notice that my fan doesn't kick when my radiator gets too hot...so my guess is a fan relay or worse a dead fan motor and my garage is closed today so I have no diagnosis yet...check your fan and see if the same thing is happening, maybe that's both our problem haha

I went to the dealer recently and they told me about a fan relay recall. Could be your issue

To the Frame = M12x1.75x45

Crossmember to Frame = M10x1.50x35

A side note, I also fixed my rear clunking noise, turned out to be a loose upper shock bolt.
