I found some used OME HD's for $100. They are about five years old and have around 30,000 miles on them. Do you think they are worth getting, or should I save for some brand new ones?

Good deal, it they're not rusted up and look good, OME lasts a long time. My buddy is at 100k+ miles on his ZJ with OME HD's and they're perfect!

had a busy weekend. replaced water pump, the leaking tube that came off the water pump that goes to a heater hose, t-stat/housing, oil change, bled my brakes and replaced the driver's side rear axle seal/bearing. while pressing off the old bearing/seal, we bent the axle mounting plate and ended up pressing the bearing on backwards so it wouldnt go in the axle housing far enough. Ended up destroying the bearing and had to get a new one sunday and repressing it on correctly. $75 down the drain... what a learning experience! after the fact we realized the passenger side seal was leaking also... thats another day tho...

couple durring pics, was too aggrovated to take more
