went off the deep end today and ordered a grand worth of parts. brand new Aussie locker for the 44A, Lower Rear Adjustable control arms, heavy duty steering stabilizer, and the last MX6 I needed to finish the shocks. it was a serious toss up between the Aussie and other parts or the LSR front bumper from kevins
went to get my air leak fixed at the shop, its coming from the nut on the sensor.
so i take a o-ring and new nut with me since have rebuilt kits.
takes the wheel off and pops the tier off to undo the sensor. theirs build up on the o-ring and the nut looks like crap. swaps the o-ring and nut then air it up and it still had a leak.
so pops the tier, removes the nut, and cleans the hole and puts some sealer on the o-ring to see if it helps. mounts and air it again and leaks again.
so pops the tier, removes the nut again and adds a little rubber rigs on top of the one i brought to see if it helps but has a leak again.
so 25 min later come the the conclusion the sensor is bad but i did not bring one with me so will back Wednesday to try a different sensor.
i hope its not the hole were the sensor goes. if it is from to much corrosion that it ate to much of the metal around the sensors. will look for a bigger o-ring or going to add some RTV to cover it a bit more.
cost me $10 and tipped him for trying but this leak is getting annoying
NOTHING!!!! didn't even drive it........ kinda bumbed.... *thinking about going for a drive*
