New to WJ's and Jeep Forums.

I have a new-to-me 2003 WJ Laredo, 4.0 with 127,000 miles. (I forgot which 4x4 system it has, but I'll get the hang of the lingo sooner or later!).

Today I ordered the Addco #684 swaybar, Addco #175 swaybar, Bilsteins, OME steering damper (from my Discovery days), tie rod ends, sway bar links, Sylvania silverstar bulbs for the high and low beams as well as fogs, all the necessary filters (oil, cabin, both trans filters, air, fuel), rear wheel bearings, spark plugs, and some misc stuff.

Also bought the Mopar ATF+4 for the trans and transfer case and the lube for the diffs.

I'm coming from a Mercedes GL450 so I wanted to tighten up the suspension somehwat. Not going off roading in this ride.

Just an fyi. If you have the 247 tcase. Either quadratrac or quadradrive it takes a special mopar fluid available through your local dealer. This is a must. If you have the 242 or selectrac atf+4 will be fine

Yes with hydrolic ram steering front and rear. The pinion brake is now his e-brake as he added disk brakes to all four corners.

Hate to be the bearer of good news but you will go off roading in this wj It will just happen when you least expect it, you may have to pull some one out of a snow bank, or take some one up to their muddy property or vacation cabin or who knows. And you can sleep well knowing you have a very capable off roader... trust me I come from an Audi A6 quattro
