Do you really have to pull the entire dash apart like that to replace the heater core?

I get better gas mileage with premium fuel. Doesn't matter what car or engine it is. Just my experience.

Stock lift? Stock height and 32s that shouldn't fit. With 32s and stock gearing I would expect 18 highway 11-12 city. With my stock tires I get 24 highway but no better than 13-14 city. I can expect 16 on some of the open suburbs around here but stopping and accelerating back to speed seems to be what kills the 4.0 on gas. I also noticed with 89 octane I get consistently 3mpg worse than with 87 octane. Hence, I run the cheaper stuff!

Why all these mpg discussions? It's a two ton brick on wheels.

Depends on if we are talking City MPG or highway.. My 2000 WJ with 4.0L & Quadra drive gets 12.4 city / 18-19 highway. It has done this for 13 years. Completely stock.
