I bet in 12 years of owning my jeep i've used the stock fog lights less than 6 total hours because they were totally useless imo ... so I'd use them sometimes at dawn/dusk just as marker lights

I read some other posts on upgrading to the 9005's and so i finally did it and it really is night/day ... totally worth it, and they fit stock without any modifications. Throws the light out front but also wide, which out here in the desert is nice to be able to see an additional 30-40* either side into the ditches. When you put the bulbs in, re-aim the fog lights so they are just under your low beams - the other thread suggested the need to do this because the focal point for the brighter lights is in a slightly different place so they'll be too low if you don't readjust them (easy with a torx bit)

I ordered some new Laredo style headlights with the clear turn signals with some Christmas money today. Now I'm looking forward to having some nice, new, clear headlights!

Replaced my front main seal and my cracked radiator today. Ill never understand why Chrysler ever even considered the hydraulic fan. Well I see why but I just don't like it. Anyhow it's done.

Ford/Lincoln used a similar setup too, I'm just glad we have room in our engine bay unlike the Ford/Lincoln setup.

just a few days ago I replaced my NP 247 T-case chain. Got it working just in time to drive seven hours through the snow storm too! But geez was the a PITA. glad its over and done with. I created a nifty little tool to undo the snap ring in the tail cone. Worked like a charm. One try to get it off and three tries to get it back on. I plan on doing a write up of the whole thing so I'll post pics of it there when I get some time.

Ive got rustys 4.5 and those sit tall and firm and I added a .75" spacer to compensate for the brushguard but the guard doesn't weigh that much.
