Carbon looks good. Still haven't put mine in yet. New stereo and carbon still in the closet. Did get the rear bushwacker flares on last night finally. Still need to rust proof under neath them. Also need to modify my rear, steel bumper to blend with the flares. Front was almost a perfect match.

Took apart, cleaned and added new anti-squeak juice to the fiancé's WJ. Was going to replace the rotors and put ceramics on, but the pads were barely worn and the rotors only need a good scuff. I had forgot that I did all of that a year ago. So, I replaced her track bar with the one out of my WJ from when I did the lift. Now tomorrow is new front shocks and a stabilizer. Should tighten up her front end a good bit.

I want to replace the control arms but she does not want me to lift it... Maybe just swap the stocks for fixed length IRO arms. I guess it depends on what I feel like spending.

Replaced a leaking oil sender unit. PITA !!! Got the part from NAPA & extra deep 1 1/16" socket from Auto Zone. I read the post here and did well until I tried to get the connector/cable off the sender. The RED catch and retainer clip (Black) were on the top. I spent 2 hours trying to get it removed. I used a mirror, screw drivers and hooks to no avail. I finally broke those pieces to get it off. I made sure the next guy won't have the same problem. I screwed in the part tight and oriented the clip to the bottom. Thank god I have a lot of cable ties to secure the connector. Next trip to salvage yard will require finding a cable.

What engine do you have? On mine ,4.7 v8, it only took about five minutes. Them little connectors with the red tab are used all over the Jeep from the windows to the speaker harness in the door jamb. So I've taken plenty of them apart.
B.o.t. Bought 4 quarts of transfer case lube from the dealer for my pre winter maintenance.

The red clip slides one direction to unlock then you can disconnect. Unless y'all are talkin bout somethin different.

Took my 2 little kids out "wheelin" on a couple trails by my house. Fun to spend an hour with my kids in the Jeep. Nothing special, but enough to flex the stock suspension far enough past it's limits to hang a tire once. Of course, I left the camera at the house.
Came home and decided it was time to paint the chrome grille black. Ran out of light, so I'll get it finished up tomorrow and post a pic.
