weak battery setting off alarm?

did some searching but couldn't find the answer i was looking for. will a weak battery in the jeep or in the remote cause the alarm to go off? mine just went off twice in the past 10 minutes without me touching anything.

The wires in the doors are known to become brittle and cause shorts. The alarm system is controlled by something in the driver door ( I forget what its called) in my experience a bad battery plus a short caused alarm and locking issues.

Pull the door panel and replace the wiring
