Wj want to buy 04 grand special edition but want the selec trac t case can i add after?
i have an 02 grand loaded like a special edition now with 4.0l and selectrac t case . I want an 04 special edition for the looks and maybe less mileage than mine and hopefully a body with less scratches and dings than mine now. I really love the selec trac t case with all the options in it but all the special edtions i have seen have that 4 wd all the time N and 4wd low. so can i put a selectrac t case in that special edition or will have computer and axle ratio problems ????????????

you can use it but you need to have the driveshafts from each vehicle stay with the t-cases

would everything line up how about limited slip axles and other kinds of axles

Does the 04 have the same 4.0 in it, or does that one have the 4.7?

according to wjjeeps.com it looks like they made an 04 special edition with the I6 4.0l and selec trac but never seen one yes the 04 special edition came in 4.0 and 4.7. check out this http://www.wjjeeps.com/tcases.htm
