I never did the spring + spacer combo (aside from when I was on a BB).

im guessing you might have to do some work on your brake lines. mine seem a little tight after the 4" lift. so maybe some brake line extension

long arm eh. can you expound on the "so much smoother ride" and what else is necessary if i go that route? i am still having trouble with what i qualify as bad sway even though i bought a kor hd stabilizer and tightened my steering a little. will long arms help with that? thank you for your interest. ron

Keeping in mind that I don't know much about wj's..... If you really want more height without spending the dough required for front long arms, shocks, brake lines, wider wheels, etc, you could pull out your isolators and put in 1.75" spacers bringing you up to about 5.5 inches.

That's about where I'm at and it really is a bit too high for short arms. With 285's and 1.25" wheel spacers it feels a bit tippy at times. I'm considering buying wider wheels and trimming my fenders before I put my new tires on. The ride is stiff and I wouldn't even consider going off road without airing down to 17psi.
