I recently bought a 2002 WJ Laredo with 4.7 and quadra trac 2.
Its body is in very good shape for the age (ie rockers are in good shape, only one tiny bad spot.) It has 200,000km on it though. (km not mi)
My dad sells used cars, and he told me a 2004 "Laredo" grand Cherokee is listed on the upcoming dealer only auction.
Supposedly it has the 4.0, leather, sunroof, and QUADRA DRIVE. I am not super interested in the 4.0 or the weaker tranny, but the jeep lists only 99km, which is significantly lower mileage than mine.
Does the quadra drive only have d44a rear differential? Also, did jeep ever offer that system with a 4.0 motor? I thought the 44a only came on v8s.
It is unusual to see a Laredo with leather and sunroof AND a towing package, is it possible this was a factory order and not an off the lot options package kind of deal?
Ill be looking at it in person late tomorrow, but I am just curious. ADESA has been entering incorrect info for vehicles for years due to incompetence, so wouldn't be surprised.
2002 GC Laredo 4.7 nv247. stock, planning 3" lift, 235/85/16, rear locker, some extras.
