vacuum leak the high RPM's?

I have noticed a hissing sound when my windows are down and at high RPMs. I was wondering if I should be looking for a vacuum leak and where the leak might be.

So I'm going to add to this.
I have also recently noticed a hissing sound behind my dash at idle and goes away when I give it gas, and brake pedal does not affect sound.

is it a constant hissing? or an engine noise modulated kind of sound.

Yeah a bit more detail please: Engine type etc would help...

Have you tried locating it yourself? where does it come from - and don't say "In the window when I open it.." Is it front, left, Front right, at the bulkhead or what, even underneath the car can have a hiss.. so a little more detail please, otherwise throw the viper out on the passenger side (also known as the missus!)

I would look in the exhaust.

Vacuum leaks do not usually materialize only at a certain load.

Exhaust leaks can tho and often do
