gcjeeping... i wanna know more about your electric on board air... i looked through you thread and saw the pic of it but i want more info about it.

Do the world a favor, hurt a honda...
Iro 3" lift with pro comp 9000es shocks, adjustable trackbar, led rock lights, all interior lights converted to leds, two 10" kicker comp with Kenwood 600 watt amp

It was two MVC-50 pumps I got off Ebay for around $50 for the pair. The tank is off an pancake compress I had that was bad. I used the gauges, manifold and pop off valve in the rear qtr panel from the bd compressor. Each compressor had a relay and CB in the power line. I had the switch up front to apply power and a pressure switch to turn them on and off. Worked great.

If youre referring to mine, i just took it off, sanded it a little and then sprayed Rustoleum Truck bed liner on it. Bought a couple of cans at the home depot i work in :P 3 months, no peel yet

Is there any noticeable purpose or is it just for peace of mind?

I ask because soon I'm going to be buying a good deal of thick wiring for both an inverter and winch, so if I'm doing it in one place, I might as well do it all, just curious if it makes a difference.
