Turbo grand cherokee

I want to turbo my 04 jeep grand Cherokee 4.0L and I was wounding if anyone already did and if this kit would work for me.

Here is a thread that might help you.

Probably not a good idea to buy that "universal" kit. No doubt there are some things in the kit you could use, but a turbo install in your WJ would have to be a custom installation.

X2 u would pretty much need everything made for you. i was watching a show one time that showed a turbo kit for a corvette where the turbo was mounted out by the muffler and that would seem easier for something like this but it seemed like a lot of work for not much output.

Never buy a Turbo kit off eBay. They are junk. Piping walls are way to thin and blow the welds way too easy. U know th saying don't lift on a budget? Well the same goes to this never boost on a budget. U would end up replace most parts in that whole kit within 6 months. So better off saving ur cash and doing it right... trust me I've been this route... no bueno lol

STS make that Turbo kits that relocates the turbos to the rear. My father in law has that application on his srt8 Cherokee. That thing has miles of inter cooler piping haha
