Truck running while getting gas?
Will this cause evap codes, like 0442, 0455 ?
I seem to always get these codes and i often leave my truck running while fueling.

I can't even believe this is a question. The system is intended to be sealed while running. OBD2 has a leak detection pump that is telling you there's an evap leak because you are running with the gas cap off.
Turn off your engine while fueling. I swear the petroleum gnomes who live at the gas station won't steal your pistons while you're filling up.

Wow.... So you can't turn off the car, get out, put the nozzle in, and go back and sit in your car? Its not gonna loose all the warm air in the minute it takes to fill your tank. Thats just laziness.

The flip side is that its not going to burn $.01 worth of gas for the few min of idling it takes to fill the tank

It's illegal and a 150$ fine here though.
There's enough potential for starting a fire...and then there's the smokers.

That's where static electricity comes into play. Not the smartest thing to do. Don't be lazy, get out, fill up, drive off. It's not that hard.
