Alright folks, I have a 01 wj quadradrive V8 ~150K miles.
As I'm driving around town maintaining slower speeds or on the hwy doing 60-70 the tranny slips or tries to find a gear. It seems to happen more often with overdrive on. Leading me to think it could be the TPS? But, I saw my tach go up as it was "slipping". I topped of the fluid and it was better for a little but still slipped here and there. This started by just an odd clunk a month or so ago and now slips or for a good second. Haven't done much hard wheeling just some light trails and dirt road, no towing mostly pavement. I do have a minor leak from the pan gasket. Has anyone had a similar thing happen? What was the fix? I'm on a budget and prefer to do my own work.
