Trailer Hitch Install

Hello,

I have a 6 cylinder 2000 WJ and I want to install a trailer hitch on if for camping.
I want to use a hitch from an 8 cylinder WJ, but would like to know if there are any issue with this, I would think that it should be a straight swap. Just have to cut the bumper a bit.

If anyone has done this and has some tip it would be great.

Thanks,

Same part OE or aftermarket.

If OE, you would only need to cut for the bezel installation.

If aftermarket... Install is easy, unless you have skid plates. I have the Curt and it required 3 people to set straight because the #%# plate kept sliding.
