I got the mopar replacements from kevinsoffroad (I think, was a few years ago) for $75. Cheap price to pay to get yourself out of somewhere and easy to install. I did bend one of the brackets on one tho coming down on a rock

I got a pair from a member here for 40 dollars shipped. I just lucked out and happened to check the classifieds at the right time.

Went to the local jeep dealer. They wanted about $900 for all the tow hook parts. Went to one of my local wreckers. $10 pulled myself.

BS... my dealer wanted $125 for the chrome tow hook kit (both hooks, plates and hardware)...

Are you sure they were looking up the right part?

Yep, that's what they wanted. I just looked at the parts girl and said 'are you kidding me?' They'd have to specially order them in. Couldn't believe it. Went straight to the wreckers and started looking. Took me a couple months, but as always, I finally found them. Up here I've come across way out of wack prices on things at the dealerships when in the US you can get it so much cheaper. Don't know why. Although did get my power steering fluid cheaper than I could for the regular fluid elsewhere by a $3. Wacked.

$125 for both complete would be a good price worth paying. I was thinking $200 max. Boy was I deluded! Tends to be cheaper to buy online from dealerships down there a lot of the time so I do when I can.

Want to replace the damn window strips, and my g/f needs them as well. They want just under $100ea for them. So with taxes over $400 for 4 weather strips? Hell No!!

The saguaro mounts have my vote. Did some serious yanking on them yesterday (landcruiser recovery) and I really did think something was going to break but the mounts held up perfectly.

I love my Saguaros. Definitely high quality, as soon as I got them unwrapped from the package, I was already satisfied with them haha.

If you are referring to the big ones that pull away from the corners which results in letting breezes, water, or snow... keep your original weatherstripping and fill the gaps with silicone.

I used clear indoor/outdoor silicone. Sure it stank for a few days, which ticked off my wife, but for a few cents of silicone it does the trick at a fraction of the cost of buying new weatherstripping. Then once it's hot, when they typically sag or fall out whenever you open the doors, they no longer budge.

I guess, mine were ordered in November or December of 2012. They look a lot thinner than yours, but the included 8 rubber washers to go on the shackles to prevent rattling and noises. Im wondering if there is a difference in strength?
