If it was a PO740 your converter clutch isn't locking up. If its a PO743 or P1775 your valve body solenoids aren't working. I would take it to a dealer and at least let them hook it up to the DRB 3 to find out first before you just jump off into replacing everything. No need to find another tranny if yours hasn't been abused its better to rebuild or replace whats bad and its cheaper.

Or take it to any shop that has the tool... And honestly, you could replace what was bad and replace all the electronics. BUT, that is no guarantee it would fix it. Plus, the electronics are about $600, no including labor. It's smart just to get a low mileage transmission and take good care of it. Take it from someone who has been through all of this.
