ive got an 02 blk dub with 245/70/16 general grabber at2's. this being the first vehicle ive owned i dont have much to compare to from personal experience but i like em. they clog up relativly easy in thick, sticky mud but i havent got stuck yet (knock on wood). there quiet, are wearign pretty good and i talked to another guy on jf that has them and he says that they do amazing in the snow. i reccomend them to anyone wanting a great all terrain tire. i know that when im rallying(think ken block) down gravel roads it feels like im planted on tarmac. my 0.02

either tire makes a good tread. i like the General's a little better because they are the old BF goodrich AT tread design.

I'm a big fan of the grabber at2. I have about 15k on mine and they're barely wearing at all. They handle great in the rain, there quiet, and there studable. I haven't gotten stuck yet with these.

x2 I love mine. They seem to ride better than the BFGs I've always ran.

Got a set of the AT2's in the garage waiting to be mounted and can't wait to see how they look on the rig.

id go with the dynapros. lettering is up to you and depends on what your doing with your jeep. if you plan to tint your windows/tailights/headlights white letters in is probably a better idea. if your leaving the look alone then white letters definetly out

I realize this is an old post but I'm thinking about going with these tires (general grabber at2) on stock height WJ. 245/70-16 is the size I will be buying and I just saw on tire rack's site that these tires are 60,000 mile rated. As far as A/T's are concerned majority are 50,000 mile rated tires, this is the only tire I have seen that is more than 50K rating. With the reviews and the mileage rating I'm all about these tires.

I've never heard anything bad about the general grabbers (or the Hankooks, I actually have it narrowed down to these two tires for my lift).

I inherited a set on my recent XJ purchase and I've ran 3 sets of T/A KO's on other vehicles and people always compare the two. The tread design aesthetically looks similar but the compound must be quite different because from my perception they provide much less grip.
I've only had them for a few weeks and can't wait to trade them out for a proper off road tire. They ride fine but a BFG they are not.

I went ahead and got a set of the AT2's. Then a couple of days later had a big snow storm move thru our area they were a major improvement to the way it handled and the traction I had. Because they are bigger than stock size they have even softened the ride over the bumps. Believe it or not I walked out of the tire shop paying only $509.00 for the set after the rebate and the pro rating warranty on the last tires. I have to say at this point I would buy another set when these wear out.

I had a set put on back in February and love them so far. I just spent a few hours in the sand dunes aired down to 20 psi and had no issues. Didn't get stuck once, even when I was in sand up past the bottom of the rim.
