Testing electric fan with mech fan

I have a standard electric fan but added a clutch and mechanical fan. How do I test to electric fan without removing mechanical fan? Can't see the elec fan run but it might be because the mechanical fan is keeping it cool.

Turn you A/C on full that will make it run, you could also pull the plug on the coolant temp sensor it will run at 100% but it will also make your check engine light come on

Its pretty easy to see if its turning or not like the poster said just turn the A/C on and it should kick on you can hear it to has a different sound then the clutch fan.
