I have always wondered how those are made.

Does that have a cover on the otherside? (If so, screenshot pl0x?)

Here is a shot of another similar one on the side that the pinion section with the gears mount in.

What gears and 3rd member are you going with? There's a guy on a local forum selling a Currie HP9 3rd with 4.10's and a Detroit for $500 obo.

I already have the 3rd member. I went with the Currie HP, 4.56 gears and ARB locker.

I'd be pretty frightened if I paid for a high $$ axle and the 'fab' shop sent me a pic of this. That's about as far away from a decent jig as you can get. I seriously hope that there's more that went into the fabrication and location of the brackets than this pic suggests.

I wouldn't expect many if any shop to have a jig setup for a WJ front axle with the exception being ECGS. I believe they are the only shop that markets WJ specific bolt in HD axles There just isn't enough demand for a jig for other shops. I do see sight and measurement marks. Those plus tack welds and test fits are a perfectly acceptable way to fabricate the axle. Claytons Mfg. has a great WJ bracket reference schematic on their site. (It looks like they are using a Claytons bracket kit based off the passenger UCA mount also.)
