Wj suspension PROblems coils springs, shocks, sounds like im hitting rocks oh my!!

so I just put on new tires Michelins ltx ms/2 . I just did rear dorman lower control arms and an omxi upper control triangle arm thing with a new mopar ball joint for the center. also did which I think to be are crappy Monroe sensatrac shocks last spring or fall. 2002 jeep grand Cherokee 4.0 113k on it 4x4 selectrac. I think the coil springs are shot all around . my left front is more bouncy then my right front . didn't play with the back but it feels like coil springs are next.i think I want to change to better shocks also.

should I go with mopar coil springs or will the moogs do just fine???

mopars are close to a $100 each for fronts rears looks like $50 each on ebay moogs I can get $100 a pair roughly

should I replace all rubber coil spring insulators even if they are still soft and not broken? I would need 8 . 2 for each what brand is good?

'Bouncy' would most likely be an effect of blown shocks. Shocks are present to dampen the up and down motion of your vehicle.

That would probably help quite a bit.

I honestly don't really know which is preferred...

I would. They compress over time causing added noise and a lowered ride height. Talk to Kolak. He can send you all 8 for a reasonable price.

I'd request your build sheet from jeep. That should tell you if you have the UpCountry or the standard suspension. To do so, click HERE then click on Equipment Listing on the left.

Hahaha! I figured while I'm at it, may as well take care of it here and now.

Sounds like you want to change springs, why not use the Moog Up Country spec ones which will make you sit a full 1 Inch Higher! They are about $70 a pair shipped to you from rockauto.com and have a factory ride quality. Change the rubber spring pads while you have it apart and you will likely get closer to 2" more.... The shocks does sound like your issue though from your description. Did you remember to tighten the control arms with the wheels back on the ground and weight on them?
