Stuck in 4lo, help!!!

I have a 2000 grand Cherokee, 4.7 v8, with quadra-drive, so it's in all time 4wd, and I was told to run 4lo once in a while, to keep it lubricated and operational, so I switched over to 4 low, worked fine. But when I wanted to switch back to 4 high, it wouldn't switch, it wouldnt even go into neutral. Any help, please?

Theres no reason to use 4lo to "lubricate" anything. The diffs and tc always spin.

Did you put the trnasmission in neutral before putting the tc in neutral? Try lightly rolling the car down a slight hill (less than 5 mph) and put the tranny in neutral and then shove the transfer case in neutral.

Is it broken?

If your not getting anything make sure the linkages are all attached under the jeep.
