Strange noise when the doors unlock

When I hit the "unlook" button, there is a screeching type noise from the rear passenger door. Anyone have any ideas?

Thats not really a strange noise per say. Its a very very very common failure. Time for a new lock actuator.

As ezflip said, it's time for a door lock actuator for the passenger rear door. Do it ASAP or you will end up with a door that won't lock or won't unlock and can be a pain to work with.
The door lock mechanism is built into the door latch assembly, so if the lock strips out in the lock position, you will have to fight with it to get the door open.
It isn't a hard to replace part, just more annoying than anything. At least it gives a warning before it completely dies though.

I have taken the rear door panel off when my wife's old GC window would not roll up (back in 2010). I am not really sure from memory what I would be looking for. Is this a simple plug and play replacement (hopefully)?
Like I said, I have only had this GC for a short time but it seems like a ton of "little" things need fixed so I am trying to get to them one at a time. This noise from the back door just started last Thursday.
