Anyone have a writeup on adjusting these steering gears? Usually involves adjusting the input bearing preload BEFORE adjusting the sector shaft...
For sure. I'm pretty bad if anything doesn't feel or sound right. Letting something small go can turn into something a lot bigger that doesn't have to be. Wanted to have the LCA's in, but at the mercy of the company. They are supposed shipped. Just waiting for the call when they're actually in so I can pick up.

The Front LCAs are a piece of cake to R&R (unlike the rear UCA). I used my impact all around. As I recall, the nuts/bolts needed to be torqued to 140, or something like that. Whatever the FSM said. And yes of course, it was resting on 'all 4s'. 1 hour (max) to do L&Rs.
