Sorry, another lift question RE 265/76 or 265/70 16's

I'm pretty sure i'm picking up a project 00 WJ limited.

Would like to put on a lift to accomodate some larger tires.

On a pretty tight budget but want to do things right the first time.

I'm looking at some 265/75/16 and 265/70/16 tires at various places including treadwright.

Some of their 265/75 tires measure in at 31.6" or even 32"

So i'm looking at 2" or 2.5" BB lift kits and understand that you should probably use bumpstops for them. So how much articulation do you loose by doing this?

I don't mind cutting the front bumper and pinch weld a little but don't want to have to hack the crap out of it

Then I see 4" lift kits from zone and rough country but wonder if I need something this high? And if I go this route would I retain full articulation?

Thanks everyone

I was hoping to see a little more response to this one! I have the same basic questions and have had no luck with the search.

Bumpstops only limit uptravel. At 2", you'll have to do some trimming for the 265/75/16. I'd expect a little bit of trimming at 2.5" also.

4" on short arms won't flex as well as long arms, as your downtravel is limited by the length of the short arms.

Thanks that makes sense
