Have you received a second or third opinion, besides the "shifter assembly" on what else might be causing your issue at hand? I like to pick my own brain sometimes, just humor me...

had a few opinions and all said shift lever assembly.
have sent old one away to be reconditioned, due back end of next week
let you know if any good.
seems to be a common problem with 2.7 crd and mercedes box.

hi all,
sent my shift lever assembly from uk to poland for repair.
had it returned within a week. fitted it today and had EML reset
and its working fine so far.

Dealership wanted 720 for new one.
Breakers wanted 480 for second hand.

theres a guy called chris in poland
at a company called PROTECHNICLAB
found them at a website P0702.COM
The service was fantastic
the cost even better, only 200 with delivery.
happy days....for now.

even like my GC a bit again.
