You need to check your Control arm bushings, tie rod ends, and steering dampener, mine was in the same situation weeks ago, replacing control arm bushings (lower), tie rod ends, and front shocks aliviated the problem !
Thanks -- that was my suspicion. Sounds like shocks are the greatest likelihood, then. It only happens under compression, such as going over one of those longer speed "humps" (as opposed to the little speed bumps). There are no noises with steering movement, so probably the tie rods and steering dampener are okay.
It's still got the factory shocks on it -- I'll have them replaced and check out the rest of the suspension at the same time. Will be nice when I buy a house and can do this stuff myself
