Rough shift between 2nd and 3rd

Hey all-

My 2000 Laredo has recently begun shifting a bit more roughly between 2nd and 3rd gears and hoping I can get the community's perspective on what to check. I'm right around 128,000 miles, and I'm the second owner. All original drivetrain. I dropped the pan just last summer and installed a new filter and fluid, so assuming that that's not a culprit. It's not a what id call a violent shift, and there isn't a troublesome just jolts the whole body a bit, and not always consistently--sometimes on the upshift and sometimes on the down.

Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks.

This is just a guess, but maybe a transmission fluid leak? I have one, and that is a sign it's getting low(because of school, have not had time to fix it yet)
