Replacing gas lines

My tank is leaking on the top again, so I have to pull it for the third time. I figure while it's off I will replace all of the rubber hoses to hopefully get rid of the MIL light I'm getting. Does anybody know what size and an approximate amount of hose I would need to complete it?

Also, does anybody have any idea why the collar nut that holds the fuel pump to the tank would keep coming loose? It is almost like either the tank or the collar is not formed properly anymore because it's really hard to get it tight... it just likes to keep spinning.

Third question... how close is the tank to the bottom of the spare tire well? I've heard of people cutting a hole to be able to access it, but I'm afraid to do it while the tank is there.

Please don't do that...

In regards to your other questions, I wish I could help but I honestly don't know. I am curious about the hose size though. I've had my dang light on for 8 months because I haven't had the time (or the will) to replace all the hoses yet.

Haha, yeah... I'm definitely not planning on it. I was more curious because I've read of other people on here doing it.

Hopefully someone will chime in with hose sizes though.

The people who have done that usually remove the tank to do a tank tuck but create a panel in the bottom of the shortened spare tire well for future access.
