Replace main cat along with precats?

Ok to start this is NOT asking if or if not I should remove any of my emissions equipment, I just want to know since I am replacing my precats with magnaflow high flow precats if I should replace the main cat as well. I ordered a 3" in and out flowmaster muffler and plan on replacing as much of the exhuast as I can with 3". However I just am concerned that I will either be wasting my money on high flow precats to leave the stock main cat or that by replacing the stock cat with a 3" high flow one I will loose all back pressure and therefore all my torque. I tow a lot so torque is definitely a priority. Any insight in this would e greatly appreciated!! - 03 wj limited 4.7ho ~160,000mi

You won't have an issue with back pressure

self also tow, and there is no lack of torque
one doesn't tow at 1000 or 2000rpm, usually beyond that
and my jeep does not die at high revs

if I tell you what is done on my jeep's exhaust including full length headers, people will get their panties in a knot, and it's all legal where I live, so me am a law abiding citicin
so for more info on what I've done, look follow my YouTube link, or pm me
and my v8 wj has no issue with a challenge from a HO

Good luck

I appreciate the input but what I really want to know is if I should leave the large stock cat and do 3" after it or replace it with a 3" high flow since I got high flow pre cats I'm going to run 3 cats regardless
