Rear sway bar end links and rear sway bar body bushings
Hi guys! I was getting a lot of clunking in my rear end after installing new bilsteins and a fat bobs bb. It looked like it was the shock sleeve issue so I took it in to have it checked and told them to check for that and they said it was fine. They said the noise is coming from the sway bar body bushings being destroyed by not having long enough end links for the BB. So, i need to get end links and sway bar body bushings. I have just a 2" BB and Upcountry suspension so maybe a tad under 3" of lift. What end links should I get? Where can I get the bushings and end links on the cheap? Also, how hard is it for me to install these parts myself?
Thanks guys!

I have been searching high and low and can only find the zone off road extended rear sway bar links for 3 to 4 inches of lift. Will those work? Will they be too long since I probably have about 2.5 to 2.75 inches of lift?

Talked to the mechanic and he said the 3" zone ones will work fine. They want two hours in labor to install the end links and body bushings. Seems a bit steep to me. Also does anyone know a good place to get the body bushings?

Do not pay anyone to install end links. Its as easy as unbolting the old ones and bolting on the new ones. Also new bushings should come with the new end links, if you look at the link in post #3 the four smaller black things...those are the bushings.

I think its the bushings that connect the sways to the body not the end link bushings. If its not something i can do ill do the end links and have them do the bushings. Rustys has some for 2.5" of lift they said.

Yeah I just went out and looked. They are pissing up a rope if they think I am going to pay them for two hours labor for that. So to replace all the bushings and end links do i just un bolt everything, put in the new parts and bolt it all back up?

Ok so I just need a set of end links and these bushings:

That covers all the bushings correct? Are those bushings decent? Should I get something better?

Looks like Im going to get the rustys. Im going to get them for 2.5" of lift since I have a 2" BB and up country. Are those bushings above the ones I should get? Do I need anything else? Looks like all I do is unbolt and change everything out is that correct?

Yup they look right to me. Those bushings are just as easy as the ones for the end links. Same thing just two bolts on each side, pull the old bushings out add alittle grease and pop in the new ones. Bolt back up, done.

Where do I put the grease and what kind should I use? I actually have taken the sway bar off. I did it when I was doing my diff fluids.

Inside the bushing where the bar comes in contact with it. Any basic lithium grease should be fine.
