rear bumper build

Hey guys just wanted to show off my bumper and maybe give some ideas. Let me know what you think

Is it me or does it stick out a good couple inches farther from the body than the stock bumper? Also, by the looks of it, you have the hitch tube welded to the angle iron cross braces. Is this right? If so, I would NOT trust that for more than a few hundred pounds at most.

Like the effort.

If I may be critical, aside from the above, I personally prefer a bumper that is smaller than stock, allowing for protection and more ground clearance. I feel that is just too bulky.

If the corners are not triangulated on the inside, then they will most likely collapse in an impact.
