Rear bumper

Looking to add an aftermarket bumper to my WJ with hitch. List of vendors is outdated-some vendors domain name is expired or up for sale. Have an ARB in front but want something out back.

Yep, me too.

Protofab are looking good so far. The biggest issue for me is all of the manufacturers are in the US and I'm in Australia.

Doug.

Isn't ARB from where you are located? I though at one time they made rear bumpers?

Yes, and no.

Yes they are local, no they don't make rears for the WJ/WG. They do for the JK, just not for the Grands for some reason.

The link says US$1646, which would translate to AU$2078, plus shipping.

The single sided swing arm version for wheel only is cheaper, and obviously the bar only without swing arms is cheaper again but I liked the idea of having a spare wheel carrier and jerry can carrier as well.

I live in an apartment complex and see the gas can exposed like that as an issue but like the fact that probably adds to the weight.

You'd only have a can in there while traveling normally, but it's easy to make up a locking plate.
