RANCHO RSX shocks for WJ

Anybody have any experience with these? I'm planning on putting the 2.5" BB from kevin's but I noticed that his Blistens were almost $300 + s/h, I found the Rancho RSX's for around $210. Are these any good, I do minor offroading, usually just light trail riding with the occasional hill, no rock climbing or anything like that yet. Mostly just highway to and from work.

Any comments or other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks, I was begining to wonder if any one knew anything about them. I actually found some Blisteins for $229 also, so between the Blisteins and the Rancho RSX's, which would be the one's to get, since they are similar in price?

I was wondering how the Doetsch Tech 3000 Series compare to the Bilsteins. I've all but decided to buy the Bilsteins, but I noticed that the Doetsch's were cheaper. Just wondering is they are just as good for what I do or if I should go ahead and get the bilsteins?

both would work for your needs, but the bilstein's would probably hold up a little better

I've had the RSX for 12 months now. month 8 front rod came out of shock body. replaced under warranty. for the past 4 months I have been fighting a lot of noise from my rear end. investigated everthing never thinking it could be my some what new shocks. I removed the rear shocks to find the valving makes a clunk noise when the rod is moved up and down in one shock. not real happy.

Sorry for your problems, but that's exactly the kind of stuff I wanted to know. Everybody gets a lemon every now and then, just wanted to hear if this has happened to more than one. See if there was a trend or anything. Thanks
