Wj Radio Wiring ?

Hi
I have just removed the premium radio from my 2004 overland model,on the back of the unit is a spade connector on the back casing with nothing attached to it ?
Does this need to be connected to anything like earth for example ???.
Look forward to a reply and thanks in anticipation...

If it worked before you noticed this then I really wouldn't worry about it

Yeah, that thing does NOTHING for an aftermarket radio.

Garage
It grounds out the chassis of the factory radio to reduce noise. Most if not all aftermarket units dont need this extra ground.
