Question regarding lift and gearing.

How big of a tire can I go before I have to start regearing to compensate for speedo and mileage accuracy?

I'm planning on getting an 04 WJ, and probably won't go over a 2" BB and some BFG A/T's.. This will be my daily driver for at least two good years, but after that, I don't know if I want to dedicate it as a trail rig or keep it as a DD and buy a wrangler..

Depends if you are getting a I6 or V8.

But there won't be a tire you can run on a BB that will require regearing unless you trim a ton.

speedo information in a wj is only dependent upon tire size, any gearing changes don't make a difference.
'97 zj 5.2, some stuff, some other suff, and some things that even work sometimes.
