Programming an rke remote

Is there any Manual procedure to programming an rke remote for a 2002 wj? Or is it mandatory that I use the drb3 scan tool?

I'm also wondering the same thing.. I did find this link though

But it's for an '04 model.

You have to use the DRB.

So how much do you think the Dealer would charge to have this done?

hopefully no more than $30.
