All electronic engine management sensors should be replaced with OEM Mopar sensors. Chrysler vehicles are very picky about them and after having numerous failures of aftermarket sensors right out of the box I just run OEM for electronics no matter the vehicle.
When I bought my Jeep the oil pressure would read at about half (40) with the key on engine off (KOEO). With key on engine running (KOER) it would peg at 80. Replaced sensor and its read normal for the last 4 years.
