On an 02 WJ 4.7, how hard is it to pull the power steering pump? Can the resevior be pull with out taking the pump out? I cant tell if its leaking at the bottle or pump.

Easy...takes about an hour. I would take the whole thing out...if the reservoir can even be removed separately, that would be a much more difficult job IMO.

I believe the power steering pump on your 02 4.7 also powers the hydraulic radiator cooling fan. There is a lot of write-up on that. There are a lot of threads concerning leaking pumps, try the search.

Thanks for the info. Bought it thursday took it back on tuesday to the dealer. Put a quart of fluid in it in 4 days. Found out dealer didnt have it inspected, usually very good dealership. They are makin it right, and fixin other things we found over the weekend we had it
