Power steering intermittent
I'm experiencing some odd symptoms - now and then after driving for a while, if I come to a stop and then try to turn the wheel it feels like the power steering is gone - as soon as I start to move it works again, this comes and goes.

Anybody else have this happen?

Yes I too have the same problem.. although I'm in the middle of the engine rebuild..I'm putting a new pump on cause I'm sure that's what it is..plus its pretty cheap

Mine was doing that, new ps pump fixed it.

Does it do it in both directions? If so it's most likely your pump.. If it only does it in one direction its your steering box..

Both directions. Ordering a new pump right away. AC/Delco reman from Rock Auto $121.79

How hard is it to put in a new steering box? Also are there supposed to be nuts on these bolts? It looks wet cause I was doing the ps pump while I took the picture.
