Possibly buying a WJ---PUMPED

Hey guys looking at buying a WJ aftet selling my beloved XJ...wanted to know your opinion

harder to turn a wrench. can be temperamental, 4.7 wont put up with the neglect the 4.0 will......... that being said............ DO IT! there awesome, look good, ride comfortable, but will hold their own offroad. Love my quadra drive, love my 4.7. only thing I miss from my tj was the stick shift

That is a good price for the mileage and condition from what I can see.

Agreed...looks good for that price..but definitely do your homework, since some tend to have many more issues than others.

Hold out for a V8. Much more power.

This costs a little more, but mileage about the same:

It's harder to find V8's with low mileage for that cheap. You might be better off with an I6.

My ideal setup would have been a Laredo trim 03 or 04 with selec-trac, upcountry suspension group, and an H.O. V8. Keep the power and the better suspension, and ditch all the bells and whistles that just cause more repair problems. Though I don't think you could get the HO with a base trim Laredo...
