possible swap?? double cardan-rezzepa into rezzepa-rezzepa

i own a 00' v8 wj w/ selec trac tc but i blew the rezzepa-rezzepa front ds... and since i can get my hands on a lightly used double cardan-rezzepa ds from an 01' i6 wj, i was wondering how hard it would be to swap it in if possible

It is not worth the effort. The rezeppa is the weak link. You need a double cardan with a U joint end. Do it right the first time.

The L6 shaft is too long for the V8.
