please me help. leak leaving puddles

ok so 2 days ago my jeep was backfireing and misfireing and shutting down when i got home i fixed the problem but when i woke up the next day there was a big puddle of coolant under the truck left for work and came home 10 hours later and took a pic of what was left of the puddle. it looks like it is comming from between the engine and transmission cuz thats where i see it drip from but it could be running down from somewhere and just be dripping from there please help me. oh and it only will drip after sitting for more than 8 hours cuz if i let it sit at work it wont drip all day but when i go out to my truck on a smoke break about 3 hours before i leave there is nothing but when i go to leave there is a small puddle. what can i do

Step 1: Find where it's leaking from. Check hoses, clamps, water pump, thermostat, radiator, overflow bottle and heater core.
Step 2: Report back.

Can't really help you with a fix until we know what's wrong.

Sounds like you got your answer. Replace both main seals or get used to the puddle. Not a fun job...
