Wj passenger side windows don't work

Hey all,

I am having problems with my passenger side windows. Neither one of them will go up or down. The front seat passenger side is some how fallen off track or something of the sorts because the window has completely fell into the door but the back window is still fully up and locked.

Does anybody want to chime in and help me out here or lead me in the right direction.

Thanks.

I also have the problem with the doors not unlocking/locking when done electrically. The only door that locks/unlocks electrically is the drive door. All the others doors have to be unlocked by getting into the driver door then leaning over to unlock them manually. What is this problem and what can be done to fix it. Thanks again.

I'm in the same boat as BigWheel.

I fixed a broken wire in between the drivers door and the body. Still no windows working on passenger side, or any locks besides Drivers door.

HELP!

I'm going to guess that you need the power window regulators replaced. Pretty inexpensive through RockAuto and only take about 20 minutes each to replace.

Had the window issue where it fell, had to have the whole cable system replaced because it frayed and snapped, cost me about $200 to get it done. But if your motors aren't working for the windows I wonder if you blew the fuse or somehow burned them out?

well if the window fell off track, it's prob the regulator like rv1820 said, friends wj did this in driver front window, im not sure how much they are from rockauto but you can pick up a lifetime warranty one at advance for about $130? if i remember right, once you un-clip the regulator from the window glass your gonna have to basically take the glass out, and then put it back in to get it aligned in the track properly again, but its not as hard as it seems

I took it to a friend of mine at a body shop and told me it was the power window regulator. Bought a new one and he even put it in free for me (which was nice because i had never done it before so i learned for the next one).

I"m still having issues with the doors locking and unlocking. He wasn't sure what it actually was. The only thing i can find is i need a new door latch system but i don't see how that will help both back doors and front passenger door.
