same issue here. on my second gas cap thinking the press relief style cap might be causing it. took a long time for it to come back on this time. seems that it comes on after a few short trips as opposed to long trips. the jeep only made long trips until today and it came back on. mine has graduated to a large leak too.

just pay a shop to do a smoke test and see were the bad line is and fix it.
