Overland rockrail resto?

I picked up a set of overland rock rails today they are in good shape with all end caps but I have a few questions!

What have you guys done to make them look new? Paint? Powder coat? What colors/brand of paint looks stock?

What is the best way to mount these on a non overland weld drill?
Any pics other colors?

Check out my build thread. I had to cut and recap mine but also do some rust removal on the inside/outside. I ended up just coating them flat black with rustoleum since I expect them to get some use. Touch up will be easy with the rattle can.

Had the rails professionally painted 8 yrs ago. . .and they've held up amazingly (especially for being driven in Chicago) The rims were powder coated 3 or 4 yrs back and are indestructible. If the money resources and/funds are available I would def powder coat.

That looks great man, is your WJ dark blue with black rails? More pics of the whole car?

Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat. Haha but thanks. After 12 yrs it does have a dull hue at some angles. I couldnt/didnt want to ever match candy/flake look when I did anything. i just always went gloss black. It provides a subtle contrast that cant be noticed at first glance. Ill work on some more pics tomorrow.

Powder coated in gloss black, end caps painted same as body graphite metallic.

If you paint the end caps use a good adhesion promoter first.

Gotta go with the flag pattern and keep with the patriot theme. Haha. Kidding of course. Unless you like it. . .Depends on if its limited/Laredo trim and the color of your rims. Can't loose with a gunmetal grey. Got a side shot of the Jeep?
