Wj open holes under doors from old cladding piece.

I took my lower cladding off a year ago on my laredo and I'm sick and tired of looking at the open square holes. Yah know, the piece that runs from tire to tire. I know the limiteds came without that cladding piece, and I'm assuming the holes are still there for the limiteds. Does anybody have the piece that covers the square holes?

Basically, is anybody parting out a limited and willing to ship the two sides?

a thin strip of vinyl stickers may cover it up enough for you.

What did you do for the outside of the doors?

Under the cladding was the body color and mine is white and I painted my cladding black, so it contrasted nicely.

I pulled off mine when I put my sliders on. What I did was tape it off below the doors and satin black it to match the sliders.
However, I would also like to get ahold of thoes strips from the limited or at least the part numbers as I would like to keep out mud and snow, ect.

Just to revive a dead thread, I found at the junkyard an old limited. The limited had a long vinyl strips with double sided 3M tape. Cleaned it up and put it on, it looked OEM now. There is hope

how do they come off? I need to do this before I install my new sliders but I thought I would bedliner spray that whole area black since I have a light silver body and think its weird to have that showing below the door?

The vinyl strips I got from the junkyard Limited literally just peeled right off once I got one end started with a pocket knife. The vinyl strip is thick enough that pulling it off of the rocker panel won't do any hard. Some of the industrial double sided tape came with the vinyl strip, some remained stuck on the rocker panel. I used WD-40 to dissolve/remove the remaining sticky tape. cleaned it up and roughed it up with sand paper before applying new tape before I installed it onto my Jeep.

As long as you have a U-Pick junkyard in your area where you could find a limited, you'll be in luck!

If you want I could check my local junkyard in Buffalo NY for ya. Not promising anything though
