Oil pressure sensor location

On a 2001 WJ with the 4.7 where is the sensor in the engine bay? I've been losing indicated oil pressure at idle and just got a new switch/sending unit/sensor at NAPA last night.

No, I'm not 100% that it's the sensor but it sounds promising based on threads I found on JF. If this doesn't fix it then I'll get a good manual gauge and see what it

I wasn't able to find a thread here on JF to show me where it is. Neither did WJJeeps or my Haynes Manual show me.

I had the same issuse with my wj and its common in cherokee's it was a gasket that seperates the fuel pump from the gas tank! It is another one of jeeps problems with cutting corners!

Oil pressure sender is right above the oil filter on the 4.7.
